I always get compliments on my skin – Here is why

I always get compliments from my friends, colleagues and relatives about how glowing and healthy my skin looks. This is because I take great care of my skin and also I am blessed that I don’t get acne or pimples on my skin. You can also get glowing and radiant skin without spending big bucks on expensive beauty products. Here is what I do for my skin care :

I drink a lot of water :

The first thing I do when I get up in the morning is to drink a big glass of water. Other than that I try to drink at least 6-7 glass of water daily. Once you start drinking water on a daily basis you will see how fresh and clean your skin looks.

I workout 5 days a week:

Regular workout does not help you in staying fit but gives you a healthy, glowing skin. You don’t need to do heavy weight lifting or gymming to get in to shape or for glowing skin. 30 minutes of workout is enough.

Use homemade face masks:

I avoid using expensive beauty products on my face. I am not saying that I never use them but mostly I prefer homemade face masks for my skin. Recently I started using raw milk for cleaning my face and it has made my skin smoother and brighter.

I eat lot of fruits:

Last year I was eating lot of crap like the burger, oily food and it reflected on my skin. My face becomes dull and I had pimples all over my face. Since then I never touched any junk food. I prefer home cooked food and eat lot of fruits daily. If you want a healthy, glowing skin eat lot of fruits and veggies.

Munch on nuts:

I keep a box of nuts in my bag. Whenever I feel hungry I just grab a handful of almonds, walnuts and eat them. They are really good for skin. Especially walnuts as they are rich in omega 3 fatty acids which also keep wrinkles at bay.

I don’t sleep with makeup on :

This is a no-brainer. You should always remove your makeup completely before hitting the bed. I also have a habit of washing my face and putting on a good moisturizer before sleeping.

So these are the basic things I do to keep my skin healthy and glowing.
