DIY : How to get Gorgeous Feet at Home using Natural Products

In winters my feet become dry and I feel so ashamed when someone point out and says “Hey don’t your take care of your feet?”. Ugh! To save myself from embarrassment I started wearing socks but whom I am fooling? I can’t even look at my ugly feet so I started taking care of them. You know what it does not take much effort and you can get absolutely gorgeous feet. No no, you don’t have to go to parlor for expensive pedicure every month. Here is how to get gorgeous feet at home using natural products.

Soak your feet in warm water : After a tiring day at work, your feet need to be pampered and for that you just need to give 5 minutes to your feet daily. Take a bathtub full of warm water, add few drops of lemon and any body wash you have (Preferably herbal) in the water and soak your feet for about 5 minutes. After drying your feet, apply a good moisturizer for soft,smooth and gorgeous feet.

Scrub your feet daily: You should wash your feet daily, once while taking bath and second at night before going to bed. When taking bath, scrub your feet with a pumice stone on the rough areas, this will make your feet soft. And don’t forget to use a good scrubber or soap on your feet.

Get smooth feet: I am sure you all have a Vaseline or cocoa butter at your home. So apply this cream on your feet before you hit the bed and wear socks to cover them. Your feet will become smooth and soft and you will see improvement in your skin texture too.

Honey a natural moisturizer: Honey works wonder for cracked and dry feet. Make your own moisturizer using honey as it has the power to heal cracked feet. So all you have to do is take a tub of lukewarm water and mix one scoop of honey in it. Soak your feet for about 10 minutes and then pat dry it using a soft towel.

Coconut oil for dry feet: It is one of the best and effective home remedy for dry feet. Wash your feet with a good soap using warm water. Pat dry and apply a good amount of coconut oil on your feet. You can also massage your feet with oil as it improves blood circulation. Next, put on your socks and keep them on overnight. Do this procedure daily to improve the skin and texture of your feet.

Get even skin tone : Our feet get effected by sun rays the most and tanned feet does not look nice. So here is a home remedy to get even skin tone and get rid of tan. Take one pan of warm milk; add a pinch of salt and few drops of lemon juice in it. Mix this paste well. Now apply and massage your with this paste. Wash it off with water, pat dry and see the magic. Do this once a week for better results.

Lemon juice for delicious smell : Lemon juice is great for removing dead skin and making your feet smell amazing. Take a glass container, add 4 teaspoon of sea salt, juice of one lemon and 1 teaspoon of coconut oil.  This mixture will work as a scrub for your feet. Leave the mixture for 10-15 minutes, and then wash them off with chilled water.

    Great recommendations! Epsom salts in warm water work for my tired feet. I totally agree, taking care of your feet is a priority, a lot of people focus on healthy lifestyle (exercise and diet) but then just ignore their feet! It’s important to remember that feet are the foundation of the human body. From experience I know that if we neglect them it can definitely lead to other health issues.
